Ramu has 8 by 9 feet of cloth that he need to divide into 2 by 9 feet cloth how many pieces of cloth he can make. step 1 multiply numerators 8 by 9 into 9 by 2 we should multiply 8 and 9 that is equals to 72. step to multiply denominator 8 / 9 * 9 / 2 we should multiply 9 by 2 which is equal to 18. step 3 reduce the fraction 8 / 9 into 9 by 2 is equals to 72 by 18 18 ones equals to 4 by 1 therefore 4 pieces he will make.I hope you understand how to multiply the fractions thank you.
